Responsabilidades principales:

  • Apoyar la coordinación logística de envíos de muestras y materiales, garantizando cumplimiento de tiempos y estándares de calidad. Supervisión de procesos de muestreo y entrenamiento recurrente de equipos de muestreo.
  • Asistir en la planificación y coordinación de actividades relacionadas con Genomic Selection, Marker-Assisted Selection (MAS), Marker Assisted Back-crossing (MABC), Breeder genetic Purity y proyectos de QTL. Mapping colaborando con equipos regionales de breeding y el centro de Biotecnología de Advanta.
  • Brindar soporte técnico en procesos de Marker-Assisted Backcrossing (MABC) y Marker Assisted Selection (MAS), asegurando precisión y eficiencia en el análisis y reporte de resultados.
  • Desarrollar, implementar y gestionar procesos clave, incluyendo la definición y seguimiento de indicadores de desempeño (KPIs) y resultados clave (OKRs).

Requisitos:

  • Título universitario (Licenciatura o Maestría) en Biología, Agronomía, Biotecnología o disciplinas afines. Sólidos conocimientos en genética y uso de marcadores moleculares. Orientación a mejoramiento genético vegetal deseada.
  • Dominio fluido del idioma inglés (oral y escrito), portugués deseado.
  • Conocimiento en gestión de indicadores claves de procesos (Key Processes Indicators y Operational Key Results).
  • Excluyente manejo de herramientas Microsoft Office.
  • Se valorará experiencia o conocimientos en herramientas como R, R-Studio, PowerBI y Smartsheet.
