At Modelit, we are looking for a Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Apex, Flow, and the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
The ideal candidate will design and deliver high-quality solutions on the Salesforce Platform, supporting complex business processes for nonprofit organizations. They will collaborate closely with Administrators, Developers, QAs, Consultants, and clients to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with best practices - while continuously growing their skills through our career development programs, flexible culture, and Salesforce certification opportunities.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex and Flow automation.
- Configure and customize NPSP components to meet business requirements.
- Participate in discovery sessions and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain unit tests.
- Collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and automation logic.
- Take ownership of deliverables and work directly with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain code and documentation using GitHub version control and follow DevOps best practices.
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with a focus on Apex and Flow.
- Hands-on experience with NPSP.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Data and Security Model.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools (VS Code, SFDX, Git).
- Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of nonprofit data models
- Salesforce Certifications are a strong plus:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant
