Position Summary: The Data Analyst II will work with a variety of software applications to

ensure our company development timelines are met and daily issues are resolved properly.

They will work closely with the EDI Development and Operational Teams in carrying out the

goal of meeting timely release schedules while maintaining the quality control required to

effectively meet the business needs of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Daily support and maintenance of existing EDI integrations, providing support to all EDI

production processes.

 Maintain all documents applications testing and scripting.

 Collaborate on data research and business intelligence projects.

 Coordinate and ensure all testing requirements are fulfilled.

 Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate to all levels of

personnel.

 Document business requirements and revise existing system and user documentation as

needed.

 Research and resolve internal system issues related to EDI transactions and related

applications.

 Responds to requests accurately and in a timely manner.

 Responsible for documenting EDI testing processes and assisting with EDI applications

testing training documentation.

 Maintaining existing system and user documentation and application release

documentation as needed.

 Utilization of SharePoint for team documentation.

 Preparation of metrics and reports as needed.

 Prepare and maintain test data and perform various tests on EDI processes.

 Prepare required documents and evaluate reports and design daily logs.

 Document failed translation processes.

 EDI Help desk triage-research and resolve internal system issues related to EDI

transactions, application and processes utilizing ticketing system.

 Work with the EDI Managers, EDI Coordinators, Analysts and Database Administrators in

the deployment of applications.

 Accurate and timely responses for internal customers.

 Ensuring data is accurate and complete for loading.

 Engage on process improvements for resource utilization tracking.

 Perform system data audits upon demand.

 Participate in systems testing and analysis of data and processes.

 Recommend improvements to same and manage communication with internal

stakeholders and ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.

 Coordinate with EDI trading partners to resolve all production issues and perform

transaction tests and resolve all EDI issues according to specification and maintain all

transaction sets appropriately.

 Must be an aggressive and self-motivated individual with proficiencies in internal client

relations.

 Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requisitos

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Minimum 3 years' experience in IT Support role, EDI data analysis or similar background.

 Applications testing experience required.

 Effectively organize and prioritize work load.

 Intermediate to advanced experience with SQL queries.

 Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

 Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

 Working knowledge of file transaction sets:

 X12: 834, 835, 837

 Flat files: Tab delimited, Fixed length.

 Source Control Experience preferred.

 Experience with SFTP, FTP and PGP a strong plus.

 EDI Translator Experience a plus.
