Smart Lock Sales Executive – Argentina Market

JOB PURPOSE:
To drive sales growth and market expansion of smart lock products across Argentina by developing distribution channels, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies in both B2B and B2C segments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Channel Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and onboard distributors, locksmith shops, hardware retailers, and resellers in major cities;
- Develop sales leads within renovation companies, real estate firms, property managers, and small office projects.
Sales Execution
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
- Conduct product presentations and technical training to potential partners;
- Manage pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on orders and payments.
Market Intelligence & Feedback
- Gather market feedback on product compatibility, pricing, and installation challenges;
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insights for strategy adjustments.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with technical support and after-sales teams to address installation or usage issues;
- Work closely with marketing teams to run local promotions, events, and exhibitions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree or above, preferably in Sales, Business, or Engineering
- 1–3 years in sales, preferably in smart home, security, hardware or electronics
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of smart hardware (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth locks) is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is a strong asset
- Familiar with CRM systems, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Experience in selling smart lock brands (e.g., Yale, Kaadas, y Xiaomi etc.)
- Understanding of Argentina's local hardware retail and construction channels
- Existing contacts with locksmith shops, distributors, or renovation businesses
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like Mercado Libre is a bonus
