At VON DER HEIDE, a leading Talent and Human Resources consulting firm, we are looking for a Head of Commercial Planning . About the challenge: This position offers an opportunity to lead a key area of business management, strengthening the link between commercial strategy and financial analysis. The main challenge is transforming information into actionable knowledge for decision-making, anticipating trends, detecting deviations, and providing an analytical perspective to optimize results. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a keen interest in understanding the market and the ability to connect data, teams, and processes in a dynamic and growing environment. What will your role be? As Head of Commercial Planning you will have the opportunity/responsibility to: Analyze and consolidate the business's commercial, pricing, and billing information, ensuring consistency and compliance with internal policies. Perform weekly monitoring of price evolution, detecting trends, deviations and opportunities for improvement in profitability. Compare and evaluate different markets, both internal and external, anticipating risks and detecting business opportunities. Generate alerts and management reports that serve as a basis for strategic business decision-making. Monitor deviations between quoted and actual invoiced amounts, identifying causes and coordinating corrective actions with the areas involved. Analyze the costs associated with business operations and their impact on results, proposing adjustments that optimize business efficiency. Provide sales projections and trends to support commercial area planning and goal setting. Ensure consistency of information between the Commercial, Administration and Finance areas, facilitating comprehensive business management. Promote a proactive, analytical, and results-oriented approach within the team, anticipating business needs. Supervise and develop the analyst in charge, ensuring the technical quality of the analyses, the accuracy of the reports, and the continuous improvement of the process. What are we looking for? Professionals with degrees in Administration, Accounting or Industrial Engineering (or related fields). Experience in business planning, management analysis or business control. Solid accounting foundation and understanding of costs. Analytical skills and a comprehensive business vision. Interdisciplinary communication and articulation skills. Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis tools. Intermediate English (desirable). The position is 100% in-person, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
