The Senior Relationship Manager is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Senior Relationship Manager also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Expand a portfolio of accounts with varying/complex financial needs with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality in line with Citi’s credit standards, policies and processes
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as financing, streamlining of cash management operations, foreign currency solutions, etc.
- Cross-sell banking products, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, loans (including syndicated, bilateral) and capital market products
- Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management
**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years of experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling
- Proven expertise in Risk assessment and valuation
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred

**Job Description**:
The Senior Relationship Manager is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible to identify client needs and recommend solutions. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of banking strategies and advisory services to the broad scope of Multinational clients by Citi with presence in Argentina.
- Identify client needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as financing, streamlining of cash management operations, foreign currency solutions, etc.
- Ensure client relationships and proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards and anticipated future changes in the marketplace.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive and execute episodic transactions, allocating capital prudently, appropriately and in adherence to all Citi risk policies
- Understand regional and emerging market trends to identify growth opportunities, anticipate obstacles and communicate a forward-looking vision that is responsive to changes in the environment
