Job summary
Amazon is looking for a Laboratory Support Technician to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new, best in class product. Our organization rewards intellectual curiosity while maintaining the direct to market product focus.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management of research lab
- Manage SOP documentation and versioning.
- Inventory tracking of reagents and ordering supplies
- Manage the lab safety plan and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Responsible for continual evaluation and improvement of laboratory safety.
- Provide professional and managerial leadership in the laboratory as well as taking responsibility for the training of staff.
- Drive continue improvement of standard operating procedures for diagnostic assays.
- Oversee design of experiment creation and execution, including: laboratory testing, equipment characterization and validation.
- Assume primary responsibility for the proper performance of all laboratory procedures and reporting of test results, in the absence of the Director
- Work cooperatively in a team environment supporting senior laboratory and management staff.
- 1+ year of experience as Laboratory support
- Masters in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science
