As a Software Engineer at MuleSoft, a Salesforce Company, you will work on a small SCRUM team to drive the development of modular, composable, and/or maintainable microservices to expose the functionality of the Anypoint Platform to customers and allow us to scale platform usage around the world.

Our teams own mission-critical aspects of a rapidly growing, globally distributed platform and, as such, you will have an incredible amount of impact on the current state and future direction of our product, with visibility throughout the organization and a significant opportunity to take ownership and lead initiatives MuleSoft Software Engineers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work anywhere in the stack, but all care about craftsmanship in their code, are naturally curious self-learners, and build the right solution for the long term rather than the right solution for right now.

**What you’ll do**:

- Develop, extend, and maintain backend systems to provide data redundancy and emergency restoration.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of the services including design, development, automated testing, deployment and debugging
- Give high quality, production ready code that powers critical instrumentation of the Salesforce infrastructure.
- Make sound design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.
- Address and advise others on problems that are ambiguous, sort through the complexity and dependencies, articulate the problem, and come up with solutions. - Partner with teams across Salesforce in aligning and building out unified long term plan and resources to support it. Communicate up, down and across organization on current state of features that you work with.

**Qualifications**
- Experienced with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like React
- Experience with modern web app development frameworks,
- Familiarity with developing for the web and for mobile
- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices in an enterprise software environment
- Experience with JavaScript
- Front End: components, LWC, React, Angular, etc
- Back End: Node, Express, etc
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. postgres) and the design of data models
- Experience with automated test frameworks
- Teammate with good interpersonal and communication skills
