**Position Overview**:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our cloud computing strategy, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. This role is crucial in supporting our business operations and development teams by providing robust infrastructure solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency.

This is a full-time fully remote position for Latin American-based applicants within +/- 2 hours of Eastern Standard Time Zones (NYC). Resume must demonstrate professional English ability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design and implement strategies to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Automate cloud deployments and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, providing technical support and incident management.
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and data archiving strategies to maintain data safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and cloud trends, recommending upgrades and innovations to enhance our cloud capabilities.
- Prepare and maintain documentation regarding cloud architectures, procedures, and service records.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations, particularly in Cloud Providers.
- Strong understanding of network architectures, data storage solutions, and cloud security principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
- Strong experience with Linux, git, and Docker.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred skills**:

- Experience in AWS, Azure is a plus.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
- Experience with one or more of these technologies is a plus (Snowflake, Airflow, OpenAI API Platform, Astronomer, Snyk, dbt, Postman).

**Salary**:USA** **$5,958.33 to $6,333.33 (monthly salary range)
