**Position**: Finance & Accounting Operations

**Working Hours**: Mondays-Fridays, 9am-6pm Local Hours

**Salary Range**: USD 1200-2000/month

**Summary of Position**
We are is building for scale as we prepare for increased business growth. Strong finance operations is core to business success. You will be the finance and accounting expert on our business operations team. You will partner closely with the rest of the business operations team and CEO to ensure we are building for scale.

**Responsibilities**
- Execute the accounting function. You’ll be responsible for executing on all aspects of accounting:

- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Payroll
- Accruals
- Fixed Assets (ASC 360)
- Software Capitalization/depreciation (ASC 985)
- Corporate consolidation (ASC 810)
- Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Stock comp expensing (ASC 718)
- Tax and compliance
- Fix it - Dive into and understand our GL, our accounting systems and processes, help us find out what we missed or did wrong, help us fix it in a systematic way, and own the execution moving forward.
- Work with our auditors - You will be the point person on future audits, helping provide requested evidence and reviewing our documentation and processes to ensure an ever-smoother audit.
- Build scalable systems and processes for our global team - You’ll manage and build the financial foundation across banking, bookkeeping, and expense management to ensure our finances are accurate and the business can effectively scale. You’ll carefully launch processes and policies that increase controls without slowing the business down.
- Influence company strategy - You firmly believe that accounting is a strategic function and will proactively take steps to shape the future of the business. From financing strategy to vendor negotiations - you seamlessly transition across operational and strategic workstreams.

**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- 5+ years of Accounting experience across a variety of disciplines.
- Must have expert knowledge of NetSuite, multi-entity bookkeeping, month-end close processes, US GAAP, IFRS, and applicable standards such as ASC 360, ASC 985, ASC 810, ASC 606, and ASC 718.
- Experience in scale an accounting function at a high-growth startup; You build strong processes, know where to leverage technology, and believe in automating manual, repeatable work.
- Proactively performs strategic analysis and makes recommendations that shape the future of the accounting function.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and takes pride in the execution of quality work

**Nice to haves**
- CPA is a major plus
- Prior experience helping with a company’s financial audit
- Experience using A/P automation tools like Airbase
