As Cloud Services Manager, you’ll be a key part of instilling the Avature culture of self-determination and constant improvement in your team and across the Cloud Services area. You’ll be in charge of motivating team members to reach both their own professional goals and the team’s.
Your challenges and objectives
- Nurture Avaturian well-being and growth by motivating and guiding, setting clear expectations, promoting bonding, teamwork, and a healthy work environment.
- Understand and comply with company policies and excellence standards, and constantly work toward your team’s objectives, mission and vision.
- Collaborate with senior management and your team to define and achieve higher quality and automation standards with a DevOps/SRE mindset and promote them across the organization.
- Maintain effective information flow within the team and with others, ensuring everyone has access to relevant information at all times.
- Gain a complete understanding of our platform and how your team’s services fit into its structure
- Understand the services provided by your team and how they fit into our platform, be aware of their problems and limitations, features required by other teams or services, plan their upgrades and improvements.

Your day-to-day activities
- Build alignment between team members and other teams.
- Provide individual feedback, mentoring, and coaching [1] for members of your team to support their well-being and career development.
- Maintain an open dialogue with your team, encouraging them to share ideas, questions, and concerns.
- Make technical definitions about services in collaboration with your team.
- Work on cloud projects with AWS.
- Organize and coordinate day-to-day work to maximize efficiency.
- Be involved in recruiting, helping the Talent Acquisition team find new Avaturians.

About you
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing teams.
- Attentive, ready to solve unexpected issues, ability to prioritize.
- Background in cloud engineering and/or development.
- Fluent in English.
- Linux administration knowledge.
- Knowledge of automation and coding, configuration management, IaaC, cloud administration and containerization are a plus.
