**Purpose and Objectives**

Within the Global Finance & Administration (GFA) board area, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) orchestrates the simplification, scalability, and digitalization of the organization including all finance processes. She supports SAP’s CFO Luka Mucic in the overall steering of the GFA board area including SAP’s Digital Finance transformation. In this context, the COO works closely with the other members of the GFA LT, as well as the COO’s of the other board areas to foster an innovative, user centric, integrated and highly automated Best Run SAP.

The COO role focuses on GFA’s key programs, processes, and business model innovation while constantly revisiting the status quo and striving to make the Intelligent Enterprise a reality.

Project Management in Finance develops and delivers key strategic projects within the GFA Board Area. In addition, Project Management Finance supports internal customers to identify, plan and deliver improvements in their global finance processes. They also provide coaching and quality reviews of strategic GFA and cross-board-area projects. The aim is to improve the efficiency and quality of processes by defining and implementing process-driven global standards with a high degree of automation.

- Formulates clear goal, objectives and work packages and tasks and translates them into project plans

**Experience & Educational Requirements**
- Over 8 years of adequate professional experience
- Multi-year project management experience (complex cross board area, multinational, incl. internal/ external consultants, in physical and virtual settings)
Track record in having used problem-solving skills
- Full cost-benefit analysis and presenting ROI to senior stakeholders
- F&A process know-how Profound understanding of GFA processes & systems
- Deep understand of SAP’s finance solutions & technology
**Language requirements**
- English: fluent, native speaker equivalent
- German: recommended
- Additional foreign languages recommendable
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Masters degree recommended (i.e. Master in Business Administration).

**Professional Training & Certification**
- Professional project management training; PMI certification (or equivalent) strongly encouraged.
