**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Category Manager is responsible for overseeing all marketing activities for a specific category within the Southern Cluster (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile). This role involves collaborating with the Global Team to develop strategic brand paths, designing local Marketing Plans (4Ps), and executing commercialization plans to achieve category objectives (portfolio management, volume, N$, profit, market share share).

This role offers the opportunity to support the company's growth plan and drive innovation by leading the development and implementation of marketing plans, overseeing new product development, and ensuring effective advertising campaigns. The Category Manager will play a crucial role in aligning marketing activities with the overall corporate objectives and contributing to the success of the Southern Cluster.

The Category Manager will lead, direct, supervise, and develop a team of marketing professionals. This role reports to the Head of Marketing for the Southern Cluster

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Formulate and implement both long-term and short-term marketing strategies for the category, focusing on core segments.
- Develop and implement the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) for the brands within the category. Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities. Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Design and lead the media strategy and develop and implement communication plans for the category.
- Translate market understanding and consumer behaviors into actionable strategies.
- Lead the commercialization process for new product development and manage innovation within the category. Oversee category business reviews, brand growth plans, and global innovation planning, including new product launches. Provide local execution inputs to Global Brand Marketing teams.
- Take full responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the assigned category and deliver profit, market share, margin, and revenue targets.
- Participate and lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for the category.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the category.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the category team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide local execution inputs to Global Brand Marketing teams.
- Work closely with local functional Management Committee members, Customer Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure excellent execution in the country.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing.
- Minimum 7-10 years of Marketing experience.
- Category Management in Consumer Goods companies.
- International experience in a global/matrix organization.
- Fluent in conversational and written English.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Full-Time
- Once-weekly remote work for eligible employees.
- Contract for an Undetermined Time contract
- This role is eligible for relocation
- Travel will up to 20% of work time within country.
