Understand business operations to be able to effectively interpret financial outcomes, identify issues, train colleagues and assist in driving change where necessary.- Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley related internal control documentation.- Ensure compliance with Pfizer accounting policies and procedures both for center of excellence processes as well as the sites it supports.- Design team's Key Performance Indicators, monitor and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of execution of the team.- Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic projects and process improvements.-
- Lead global projects and/or cross functional initiatives that are in addition to existing role and responsibility.- Act as a final reviewer of region specific financial data and submissions to ensure accuracy, ensure business deliverables and financial deadlines are met.- Undertake full regional operational responsibility, to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved.- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions.

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have-
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting-
- 5+ years’ experience-
- Strong people management experience-
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or financial reporting capacity within a large multi-national company-
- Demonstrated project management experience-
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, spanish is a competitive advantage-
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPointNice-to-Have-
- Master's degree-
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience-
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategies into financial concepts/ processes-
- Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate teams-
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills-
- Public accounting experience-
