The Business Data Analyst is responsible for bringing technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data, then process, design and present it in ways to help business make better decisions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Interact with multiple teams to gather information about the process they have and how can deliver the information.
- Prepares reports, meeting minutes, metrics, and documentations.
- Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions using acquired technical experience.
- Utilizes good understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas.
- Applies good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives.
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for moderately complex projects through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards.
- Collaborate in the business reporting improvement process.**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in written/reading English (intermediate +)
- IT experience with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other MS programs.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Knowledge of Metadata, ETL and Datawarehouse concepts.
- Analytical and organized mindset, with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and effective at completing deadlines, on time or ahead of schedule.
- Skills to manage projects and dates independently.
- Systematic, structured, and rational approach.
- Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse types of audiences.
- Teamwork skills.
