INTERNAL ANALYST

The Analyst will be responsible for directing all reporting and analytics activities for BDS Connected Solutions. The role of an Analyst is to provide insightful and creative analysis of data related to BDS Connected Solutions departments. In this role the Analyst will build relationships with key stakeholders and will meet to review report. The Analyst will need to be detail oriented and must have the ability to provide meaningful data analysis. The Analyst will report directly to the Manager or Sr. Manager of Business Analytics.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Meet with internal stakeholders to ensure current reports are meeting business needs 5%
- Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to internal department functions such as finance, HR, recruiting, etc. 25%
- Create reporting that provides insight for internal management. 25%
- Clean, check, and manipulate data to build interactive dashboards via Tableau that are user-friendly 10%
- Prepare client-ready, error-free, and timely spreadsheet deliverables and PowerPoints to present findings in clear, concise summaries 20%
- Manage changes to reporting databases and maintain effective data collection protocols 5%
- Manage all reporting workflows, tasks and deliverables; assess the effectiveness of programs 5%
- Maintain professional relationships with all internal stakeholders 5%

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, marketing, or computer science fields preferred.
- Experience in using Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Excel
- Project management experience

**SKILLS**
- Two or more years of related experience in business analysis
- Understanding of market research and analysis techniques
- Clearly demonstrated business-related problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good math skills and working knowledge of statistics
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities, including competing demands
- Expert knowledge in Excel and Power Point is necessary
- Tableau experience preferred

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage others and use a data-based approach to help persuade people from the positions and assumptions because of the clarity of your approach.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment and deal effectively with various levels of internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and level of detail
- Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while being flexible and open to changing priorities
- Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused attitude and strong customer advocacy skills
- Strong presentation skills
