We are a very technologically forward-thinking and growth-minded firm, which extends to our clients and staff. Our clients rely on us to help them stabilize, analyze, and grow their businesses. Because we do a great job of this, we’re growing. We are therefore looking to bring on a highly skilled and motivated **Acumatica Accountant** to join our remote team.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Play a crucial role in leveraging the capabilities of the Acumatica ERP system to maintain accurate financial records, facilitate reporting and analysis, and support the organization's financial goals and objectives
- Assist with new client onboarding and through the process of product adoption
- Advise and assist with data migration from legacy accounting solution to Acumatica
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data
- Demonstrate features and functionality to clients
- Assist clients with best practices in using Acumatica
- Improve the Acumatica environment including but not limited to streamlining and managing multiple user setups, profiles, and roles, customization of objects, fields, and record types
- Offer recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes, including Acumatica projects that will simplify and automate processes
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; file financial reports; advise management on needed actions
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of outsourced controller experience using the Acumatica platform
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Extraordinary Excel skills
- Ability to automate financial transactions and processes
