We're seeking an **experienced and detail-oriented Nearshore Accounting Manager** to lead global accounting operations and client engagements. In this role, you'll collaborate with U.S.based Controllers and international accounting professionals to ensure compliance with **U.S. GAAP** while delivering timely, accurate financials that drive growth and confidence for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

**Accounting & Financial Leadership**:

- Lead full-cycle accounting for multiple client entities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Review and prepare financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
- Supervise, mentor, and train offshore accounting team members.
- Develop and maintain client budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

**Core Accounting Operations**:

- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
- Support inventory management, cost accounting, and order fulfillment cycles.
- Conduct variance analyses and assist with operational and manufacturing finance as needed.

**Technical Expertise & Compliance**:

- Partner with tax advisors to support compliance and filings (C Corp, S Corp, LLC).
- Coordinate documentation for **sales tax, franchise tax, R&D credits, and 1099/W-9 reporting**.

**Technology & Tools**:
Work with top-tier accounting and business systems, including:

- **Accounting Platforms**: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite
- **Payroll**: Gusto, ADP, Justworks, Trinet
- **E-commerce & Payments**: Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal
- **Inventory Tools**: Cin7, Fishbowl, SOS Inventory

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven background as a **seasoned accounting professional** with strong technical and managerial expertise
- Deep understanding of **U.S. GAAP** and full-cycle accounting practices
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing distributed or offshore teams
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, and formulas)
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

- Experience with multi-entity, international, or manufacturing clients
- Familiarity with automation tools or systems integration
