**AI-Driven Backend Engineer Nov 2024**

**Location**: Remote

**Pay**: $500 to $2000 USD monthly (depending on experience)

We are collaborating with several innovative startups, all focused on leveraging **AI, LLMs, and matching algorithms** to solve real-world problems. These companies are on the cutting edge of technology, working to develop their first products while tackling challenging problems in AI.

**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain backend systems using **Python** and **Django**.
- Design and implement APIs to connect with external services and data sources.
- Work on **AI-driven features**, including integrating **LLMs** (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain).
- Collaborate with product teams to define and ship new features.
- Ensure code quality and scalability through testing, documentation, and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in **Python**, with production-level coding experience.
- Strong interest or hands-on experience with **Large Language Models (LLMs)** and tools such as **LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith**.
- Experience with **data science workflows** (e.g., pandas, SQL, Scikit-learn, perceptron models).
- Solid understanding of **backend development**, including **data modeling** and **API design**.
- Proven experience integrating with **external APIs**.
- Expertise in **Django**.
- Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science** or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications (Optional)**
- Prior experience building products from scratch.
- Familiarity with **matching algorithms** or **recommendation systems**.
