**The role**:
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will play a critical role in the future of our product organization. Responsible for evolving our quality assurance process and systems, you simultaneously understand the big picture needed to drive product quality, you can build processes and approaches to quality assurance that can be leveraged by Product, Engineering and QA teams and roll up your sleeves to QA when needed. You will collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, compliance, retention, payments and customer support teams to successfully deliver Rivalry’s product experience.

**What your days will look like?**
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and Design to ship awesome new features and products
- Build test suites for new feature development, and execute both manually and using automated scripts, working in an agile environment
- Facilitate communication between Product, Engineering and other QA team members to ensure product meets strict requirements
- Work with the team to help evolve our QA processes and tools
- Get involved in the early stages of product development and provide crucial feedback during planning meetings
- Lead, manage and mentor QA staff
- Lead, define, represent and communicate QA strategy & planning to stakeholders
- Attract great talent, recruit and hire QA Analysts

**What you will bring to the team?**:

- 5+ years of software testing experience is required in an agile development environment
- Experience testing products, both front and back-end, working as part of a Product development group
- Experience using bug tracking and test case management tools (ext. JIRA)
- Solid understanding of Quality Assurance testing methodology and processes
- Experienced writing automation scripts from scratch (non-record playback) using various tools/frameworks to help streamline testing (Selenium/Java script/Night watch)
- Strong experience with testing features developed on both web and mobile considering both frontend and backend technologies
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about building amazing products
- Strong written and oral communicator
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Nice-to-have: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant IT field
- Experience in the esports, sports, music, or other similar business is a positive
