(Remote) Scrum Master

We value diversity of thought - Be bold enough to voice dissenting opinions. **Scrum Master/Agile Coach** We are currently transitioning to a more Agile philosophy and we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to help building and refining the foundation of our Scrum implementation. As a Scrum Master, you will employ servant leadership to coach and support the team in agile product development and delivery methods. You will teach and coach the team on Agile practices and principles. You will lead, facilitate and support Scrum Events, coach the team on getting the most out of the Scrum framework and help the team to remove impediments. Daily work will include story writing, backlog maintenance, prioritization, and planning. You will support transparency through clear communication and help foster collaboration and understanding between the Product Owner and the team. **Responsibilities**: - _**Own the Scrum process**_, ensuring that it is adhered to. - _**Assist the Product Owners**_ with backlog maintenance and grooming. - _**Write and maintain**_ stories. - _**Lead, facilitate and support**_ all scrum events in the organization, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, backlog grooming and sprint retrospective - _**Follow up**_ on project resources on a _**regular basis**_ to obtain status, addressing and escalating issues as needed, clearing obstacles, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining clear communications to stakeholders - _**Propose improvements**_ to the Scrum process, and own their implementation with the teams - _**Provide mentorship**_ and training when required for teams and individuals to guide an agile approach to daily meetings, planning, teamwork, and managing workflow. - _**Generate and analyze metrics**_ to monitor and improve the team’s velocity, software quality and efficiency. - _**Encourage self-organization and empowerment of the Team**_, making sure other parties do not make commitments on behalf of the team. - Promote a good relationship between the Scrum teams and product owners - Protect the Scrum team(s) from outside interruptions and distractions **People describe you as**: - _**Passionate about Agile**_.
