Morgan **is a global leader in financial services, offering solutions to the world's most important corporations, governments and institutions in more than 100 countries. **Foreign Exchange Operation** (FX) primary functions are supported by the 200+ people in the global team. This included payment processing and controls, confirmation drafting issuance and matching, client service, economic affirmation, onboarding to electronic platforms, client money novation, regulatory governance and change management. - Service over 60,000 clients with over 400,000 discrete accounts - Manage payments to 135 different countries, Transact in 113 different currencies, out of 35 JPM entities - Manage > $2Trn of gross settlements on 500,000 transactions, in over 100 different products daily The FX operations team supports our clients in the FX transactions executed by our clients.You will support our team in Argentina however close interaction will be with the teams in India, USA and EMEA. The team provide comprehensive operational services to the Bank's businesses across the globe however this role will be focused on North America FX clients. The department is very fast moving, with increasing volumes so there is always an opportunity to learn, increase knowledge, to take on more responsibility and where staff excellence is recognised through reward and promotion. The Corp INV FX team is responsible for liaising with our clients, front office, settlements and multiple other internal teams. This position includes performing key controls as well as providing the best quality client service to our clients and business partners. **Job responsibilities**: - Day to day responsibilities of managing the post settlement team (corporate investigations, managing failed settlement (nostro breaks), and compensations, receiving and generating claims. - Ensuring any breaks are followed up on a timely manner. - Identifying and investigating any root causes - Establishing an excellent relationship with Front Office sales and other internal clients - Participating in process improvement initiatives - Working with the above groups to quickly and efficiently resolve client issues. - Managing the team, with day to day responsibilities including arranging training, recruitment, performance management, Career Development, escalation resolution, and driving standards. **Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities**: - People management experience of at least 6 years. - Experience of payments, and SWIFT communications between banks. - Experience in an financial services and nostro reconciliations. - Client Service experience with managing demanding and high-pressure situations - Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload whilst working as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, experience of building phone relationships. - Take ownership and display the ability to follow through with departmental objectives whilst taking into account risks involved in daily processing.
