**Responsibilities**:
**Who are you?**

As key members of the Professional Services Team, Audio Engineers are responsible for partnering with our Engagement Managers and Implementation Managers to help deliver client projects in an effective and timely manner. Occasionally, Audio Engineers work on special requests from Marketing, Sales, or other departments. They are also responsible for organization, auditing, and upkeep of system-wide audio resources.

The Audio Engineer often works with multiple requests, balancing timelines for client projects and voice talent availability.

**In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following**:
- Program Implementation
- Ensure task completion according to deadlines
- Process and edit audio from voice talent for communication programs on daily basis
- Assist with day-to-day production needs
- Assist with creation of work assignments and instructions to voice talent
- Perform quality control activities for fellow team members and also for transcribed audio recordings.

Audio Team
- Achieve mastery of the audio portion of Silverlink’s software tools.
- Organize audio assets for specific programs as well as system wide.
- Manage audio data processes, including analysis, cataloging and categorizing.
- Occasionally assist with work load distribution.
- Document standard operating procedures.
- Identify process and product improvements

Interactions
- Provide status updates to task owners.
- Provide feedback on communication copy.
- Work with Analytics to make recommendations on how to improve programs.
- Work collaboratively with internal and client teams to find solutions to business challenges.

Qualifications:

- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously under deadline
- Working knowledge of digital production, processing, and perception of speech, and its intelligible transmission through telephone systems.
- Ability to discern and describe vocal dialects, inflections, and other tonal attributes of speech.
- Strong understanding of speech cadence, pauses, pitch and volume; and listener response to changes in these attributes.
- Detail oriented

- Proficient in Excel and Word

**You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics**:
- 2+ years audio production experience
- Proficient in Adobe Audition or other equivalent audio editing suite.
- Familiarity with single and multi-track editing as well as scripted/automated audio processing
- Prior experience producing voiceover content for telephone IVR systems
- Prior experience working with and coordinating voice talent
- Demonstrable knowledge of digital audio production, post-production editing and mastering best practices
- Prior experience assisting with recording spoken audio
