**Job Title**: Inventory & Demand Planner
**Job Type**: Full-Time Contractor
**Workplace**: Remote (EST overlap preferred)
**Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
**Compensation**: USD $1,500 - $2,000 /month (DOE)

We’re seeking a precise, data-driven Inventory & Demand Planner to forecast product demand, track inventory accuracy, and support purchasing decisions that keep operations efficient and cash flow healthy. You’ll work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time—driving measurable reductions in stockouts and excess inventory.
Core Outcomes
- Maintain ≥ 98 % SKU-level inventory accuracy across channels.
- Deliver forecasts within ± 10 % variance through continuous data analysis.
- Coordinate purchasing recommendations aligned with sales and marketing plans.
- Generate weekly inventory and turnover reports for leadership review.
- Communicate actionable insights that improve forecast reliability and decision speed.
**Requirements**:
- 3 + years in inventory planning or demand forecasting roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data models)
- Experience with mainstream ERP or inventory management software
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field
