Entravision is a diversified global media, marketing, and technology company that reaches and engages Latino consumers in the U.S. and other markets primarily including Mexico, Latin America, and Spain. We are looking for a Business Analyst to fill out our growing and evolving BI Department.
**Essential Functions**
- Design, develop, and generate benchmark reports and, eventually, dashboards for business performance monitoring and business decision making in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze, guide, and educate on revenue and margin trends, as well as spend drivers to impact business unit strategy leading to increased revenue and decreased expense.
- Manage new report generation and report enhancement based on the change requests.
- Partner with Data Science, IT, Sales, and Finance on the implementation and continuous improvement of internal reporting
- Assist and provide guidance and insight, as needed with quantitative analysis on different KPIs for revenue and margins, based out of EVC’s main internal systems as WideOrbit, Tableau and Netsuite
- Provide research-based analytical support for various departments and especially the BI Manager in forecasting, variance analyses, and preparation of financial budgets.
- Analyze existing BI reporting processes and suggest improvements for optimum reporting solutions.
- Remain current on industry trends and best practices with respect to BI capabilities.
**Required Education and Experience**
At least 3 years of previous working experience and some corporate background
2-3+ years of analytics or metrics analysis and reporting experience **a great plus**
Advanced student or Professional of Business Administration, Accounting or related. Knowledge of business, statistics, mathematics, or data science/analytics** a plus**
**Proficient in English**. This person needs to communicate orally and in writing with headquarters / corporate accounting, data and Leadership
Experience using Tableau or other BI software **desired**, as well as **some exposure** to CRMs and accounting systems Netsuite or similar (SAP)
Flexible and fearless of learning new systems, new ways, and embraces change in a fast paced industry
High command of Excel and google sheets, as well as powerpoint / google slides. Regarding Excel/google sheets we are looking for speed with pivot tables and complex formulas. Knowledge of Power BI **a plus**
Digital Advertising and Media experience **a plus**
