The Amazon Prime Video team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to offer customers the widest selection of digital video content including Amazon Original and Exclusive content and make it trivially easy for them to enjoy it wherever and whenever they want. Amazon Prime Video in Latin America is rapidly growing, and have very ambitious goals to become a leading player in the video entertainment industry and delight our customers with a great service and broad content.
We are looking for or a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager to join the team, and help grow our business. The role will focus on the marketing and planning of our key Local Exclusive and Original TV shows and films. This role will span co-ordination across a wide-range of cross functional teams and external partners which will include vendors, production companies and talent agencies. You will be a successful marketer that delivers results and have worked within the media or entertainment industry, agency or client side.
S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. The role will have no direct reports but will need to engage and drive things across a broad set of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complete launch plans and execution of our Local Exclusive and Original TV show and films in LATAM
- Develop audience testing and research
- Lead creative process from concept ideas to testing, to deployment in partnership with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Provide inspirational, creative and thought leadership on ways to reach and gain attention of target audiences.
- Lead full marketing approach across both Above-The-Line, Owned and Operated channels and partnerships, incl Social
- Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films
- Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
- Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences, including stakeholder’s management and progress reporting.
- Manage external agencies and publishing partners as necessary for that which we cannot do internally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
