**Key Responsibilities/Job Functions**:

- Voice Networks Engineering is accountable for the development and evolution of Voice wireless and wireline network technologies. This includes IMS Voice Core platforms to support Voice and Messaging services and Session Border Controllers to support SIP interconnects with other carriers.
- Senior Network Designer will work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the design, development, testing, engineering, implementation and evolution of voice interconnects from TDM to SIP.
- Manage projects as Technical Leader related to the deployment of new SIP interconnects, including lifecycle management.
- Take full accountability and ownership in all standard DevOps deliverables (design, integration, testing, troubleshooting) for SIP interconnects and SBCs
- Author technical engineering documentation (eg. Engineering Design Specification Documents, Acceptance Test Plans, Work orders and Method of Procedures (MoP) which facilitates configuration changes, software/hardware upgrades, validations, E2E service testing and platform integration)
- Work in a tight, highly motivated, team environment taking on leadership responsibility when necessary.
- Has wide internal contact network.
- Seen internally as an expert on one or more areas of technology.
- Familiarity with, or exposure to, multiple related areas of technology.
- Acts as a consultant on complex issues

**Experience and Education Preferred**:

- Minimum 5+ years of technical experience with SBCs and SIP protocol
- Previous experience of building SIP interconnects
- Advanced experience with SIP protocol and ability to read SIP messages using tracing tools
- Knowledge of Wireshark tool
- Core Competencies include Innovative and Creative thinking, Problem Solving abilities, Adaptability and Initiative.
- Excellent communication, inter-personal skills, teamwork and collaborative abilities with proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and to work with mínimal supervision.
- Proven ability to multi-task and deliver in order to meet tight deadlines.

**Bonus points**:

- Previous experience with Acme/Oracle SBCs.
- Good-level knowledge of IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi call flows and 3GPP architecture and its deployment and integration in large-scale carrier environments is a bonus.
- Knowledge of Netscout ISA-Tektronics tool
