Our client is a major player in the PoS domain who partners with 11 world-leading fast food chains in the US. You’ll help us deliver high-quality software on a SaaS platform that provides customer engagement solutions to empower merchants worldwide to make data-driven marketing decisions.

**Is that you?**
- 3+ years’ experience in software testing, with at least 1-2 years of backend (REST API) test automation
- Competency in Java or Groovy
- Strong understanding of the agile software development/testing lifecycle and OOP principles
- Experience with manual testing and testing backend software code
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and server tools like Jenkins
- Experience with version control systems and reporting tools
- Ability to implement and maintain automation frameworks and test tools
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST
- Upper-Intermediate English level

**Desirable**:

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

**Key responsibilities and your contribution**

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and executing automated tests, deploying software to the cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping us to continuously improve our software development processes.
- Deploy software to cloud environments with Jenkins and manual/automated testing
- Design and develop automation scenarios for building robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions
- Help develop and maintain in-house automation frameworks/tools for CI/CD
- Prepare testing data, proactively obtain and clarify requirements as necessary
- Review and analyze test execution results, report issues to the dev team, maintain all related test documentation
- Communicate and report daily task status updates to the client
- Conduct SQL data quality and functional/regression testing
