This would involve: bank reconciliations, vendor management, AR management, fixed assets and inventory management as well as weekly and end of month financial reporting requirements. Will also be expected to collaborate and create/improve systems and processes for the accounting functions. Other responsibilities will include Payroll, tax reporting, budget preparations, audits as needed, and variance analysis. Assist in the implementation of the accounting system as needed. - Handle day-to-day bank recs, AP and AR for the business (hands-on) - Handle end-of-month process, including balance sheet work papers, closing process, etc. - Record fixed assets by creating and supervising a system of procedures, forms, and controls - Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, payroll, quarterly tax reports, and other financial reports - Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets - Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements - Create new processes to improve financial efficiency - Report analysis and findings to the management team - Assist in the implementation of our newly selected accounting system **Typical Qualifications**: _(_education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically needed to perform this job) Education _(if beyond High School or equivalent)_**:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting** Experience Target _(in this job or a related function/field)_: 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting roles Skills: _(_identify essential skills required, and identify additional skills that enable success in performing this job): - With excellent communication skills - Detail and deadline-oriented - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Time management skills - Proven experience and high standards of interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge/Abilities: _(_describe type and level of knowledge or ability needed to perform essential job functions and those that enable success in performing this job) - Proficiency in Netsuite - Fundamental knowledge of GAAP. - Experience in Zoho, NetSuite and MS Dynamics is a plus but not required.
