We are looking for a **skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer** to join our team on a contract basis. If you excel at building complex DAX measures, developing robust data models, and automating deployment pipelines, we want to hear from you This role is perfect for someone who thrives in creating impactful reports while implementing modern DevOps practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain **Power BI dashboards and reports** for **Inventory Management**, **Spend Management**, and **Finance Reporting**.
- Build and optimize **complex DAX measures** for scalable analytics.
- Develop and implement **data models** to meet analytical and reporting needs.
- Design and maintain **Power BI deployment pipelines** for development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement **CI/CD practices** for automated testing, validation, and deployment of Power BI reports and datasets.
- Identify opportunities to offload data manipulation to data engineering for improved performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, align on objectives, and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure **data accuracy, consistency, and quality** through effective modeling and validation techniques.
- Integrate data from various sources, such as **SQL databases, Azure, and APIs**, to create comprehensive Power BI reports.
- Implement **row-level security (RLS)** and adhere to best practices for data access and integrity.
- Configure and maintain **automated refresh pipelines** with proper error handling and notifications.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Power BI, **DAX**, and data visualization trends to enhance reporting capabilities.

**Qualifications**
- **4-5 years** of hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of **data modeling principles**, including star and snowflake schema designs.
- Experience with **Power BI deployment pipelines** and implementing **CI/CD workflows** using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Proficiency in integrating data from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Expertise with **Power Query**, M language, and transforming raw data into structured formats.
- Understanding of version control practices and **Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)** for Power BI solutions.
- Ability to identify ambiguous requirements and present clear solutions to fill gaps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

**Preferred Skills**
- Familiarity with **Inventory Management**, **Spend Management**, and **Finance Reporting**, including ERP systems.
- Knowledge of **ETL/ELT processes** and data pipeline creation.
- Experience with **automated testing frameworks** for Power BI reports and datasets.
- Familiarity with **Paginated Reports** and their integration into Power BI Service.
- Experience with **Git-based workflows** and managing Power BI artifacts in source control.
- **Microsoft Power BI certification** is a bonus.
