Seeing our clients make more money and collaborating together to accomplish their goals is what drives us to slam down a couple of espressos every morning and fire up our brain cells. **HOW TO APPLY** **JOB DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for use by our clients and also our internal video show we are producing. Ultimately, as a film and video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. Extra consideration for those that have produced a YouTube or online show or video ads in the past. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation Improve video and sound quality using various video editing software Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video based on given requirementsInput music, dialogues, graphics and effects Create rough and final cuts Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running Consult with team members from production to post-production process Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for website banners, social media content, etc. **REQUIRED SKILLS** Professional mastery of design, video and audio editing software and programs Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously Creative experience in filmmaking and videography Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects (this isn't as important but being able to visualize for the team would be positive) Excellent English communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products Proficient in softwares such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, After Effects, etc .3 years of experience as a video specialist of a similar role A strong eye for visual composition Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** **HOW WE WORK** - Freedom and flexibility.
