**Summary**:

- The Raw Product Planner Scheduler coordinates raw product deliveries to processing plants, working with both internal teams and external partners. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, solving problems quickly, and ensuring high-quality production with perishable goods. It also supervises assistants and contractors, manages schedules, and resolves issues using strong analytical skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensures that safety policies and procedures are followed and adhered to in their area of accountability, with a focus on zero safety instances or accidents.
- Provides cost-effective solutions using sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify the cause.
- Devises recommendations, solutions, and implementations based on information on variable commodity quality attributes and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues, focusing on manufacturing plant efficiency.
- Supervision of Raw Product Scheduling Assistant (1-2) and third-party grading contractors.
- Ensures that company policies, procedures, and union contracts are administered in a fair and consistent manner.

**Typical Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

**Relevant Experience**:

- 3+ years related experience and/or training

**Other Information**:

- Requires full understanding of area of specialization, principles, and practices of raw product (potato) scheduling in relation to manufacturing operations and variable quality raw product supply.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems.
- Experience in database management and Power BI tool preferred.Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to assess unusual circumstances using sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques.
- Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach.
- Potato experience and agricultural knowledge in planting, harvesting, and equipment preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of potato production (agriculture) and potato processing.
