**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

This group serves customers worldwide via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams.

This means worldwide delivery commitment in areas including SAP Business Applications (SAP ERP, SAP SCM, SAP CRM, SAP SRM and more than 24 Industry Solutions), Development and Technology Consulting Services.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**

Analytic consultants work with project managers, businesses owners, analyst teams and clients, building ETL processes, data warehouses, database prototypes, reports and implement predictive algorithms to deliver the customer requirements. They also document code, provide progress reports, and perform code review and peer feedback.
- Perform the role of a Consultant on projects (SAP BW/BI/HANA Implementations/Upgrades, modelling)
- Follow Manager’s guidance and perform required actions in the areas of self-development and utilization
- Perform tasks as required by the Project Manager on the assigned projects
- Formulate and track work plans and delivery milestones in line with client expectations. Continually report progress as required
- Act as a trusted advisor/technical architect to the customer
- Deliver project trainings, conduct customer workshops and support presales / bid management
- Ready to travel for assignments within EMEA-DACH (short term and long term) (up to 50% of working time)
- Willingness and availability to learn new solutions and technologies

The internship position will focus on developing the soft and hard skills to become an analytics consultant as well as give an opportunity to work in live projects together with other more experienced team members.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**Fits the following profiles**:
**Programming**
- Programming languages: C++, C#, Java, other OOP languages
- Databases: Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Web programming: JSP, EJB, HTML/CSS, PHP, XML, ASP.NET

**Database**
- Familiar with one of the following SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL, DB2, MySQL
- Relational Databases knowledge
- Database normalization and troubleshooting

**Nice to have**
- SAP technologies knowledge is considered a plus
- R language and/or mathematical algorithms
- Artificial intelligence/machine learning
- Internet of Things
