Senior Financial Analyst

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Sr. Financial Analyst in our Chemical Technologies Supply Chain Finance Group located in Buenos Aires, ARG. This is an opportunity to join a large growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key finance partner for the North America logistics management team and will be responsible to provide financial visibility to help logistics management make strategic decisions to improve efficiency and business profitability. This role will be based in Sugar Land and reports to North America Supply Chain Finance Director.

- Help develop and manage key Logistics reports and operational KPI’s while providing actionable commentary to help management understand the financial results.
- Develop strong partnership with the Supply Chain Logistics management team and be a key finance partner in all aspects of the business. Serve as finance representative for various logistics related projects in the organization.
- Participates in the annual budget process and forecasting associated to Supply Chain Logistics function.
- Maintain the standard costing environment around various components of material costing related to logistics and help manage last mile freight expenses.
- Provides operational support with capital equipment authorization, asset management and inventory control of Supply Chain Logistics. Work with operations to understand the financial impact of disposals, impairments and new investments.
- Manages all accounting procedures related to month end close process, such us accruals, journal entry preparation, variance analysis and key finance partner to the Supply Chain Logistics operations team.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Business
- 5+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting with proven experience in financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Ability to travel (up to 20%)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) experience with strong proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead/drive financial performance and process improvement.
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills
- Agile learner, ability to drive results in a dynamic, collaborative team environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing
