Technical Support

We are currently looking for a Technical Support to join our Engineering Team in Buenos Aires.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Performs onsite installation or replacement of various hardware and software components.
- Trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network.
- Resolve network switch and connectivity issues.
- Interface with infrastructure, database, and development personnel.
- Initiates escalation as appropriate to ensure management awareness.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT desktop support.
- Writes automated routines and programs using common desktop software.
- Maintains IT equipment and supply inventories to ensure critical parts and supplies are in place to maintain systems with limited downtime.
- Work with Development Team on the Software Deployment.
- Analyzes data and tests usability and correctness of job aids, process, technical solutions, and metrics.
- Assist in the Quarterly Audit process.

**Knowledge /Skills/ Competencies needed**:

- No less than 2 years of client facing technical experience
- Demonstrated experience installing and supporting PCs/MAC, laptops, printers, and telecommunication equipment.
- Knowledge of network and server administration and troubleshooting.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and anticipate needs.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, HTML, scripting, Ajax, web services, CSS, DBMS.
- Knowledge of IT Help Desk and ITIL.
- English skills, both oral and written intermediate.
