Graphic Designer

We need a fresh-thinking and results-driven designer who will work on our Marketing team to develop and manage a broad range of work for Rise including videos, paid media ads, website content and pages, event assets, webinars, and more.

**Summary & Scope**

The **Graphic** Designer **will develop and execute the creative strategy and assets for Rise to drive new business. This leader will have a creative eye and own the visual brand of Rise through creative and short-form content. They will be responsible for designing engaging and goal-oriented assets in different mediums, tailored to Rise's target audiences and marketing activations. They will be responsible for creating all visual elements used in various integrated, cross-channel initiatives including videos and static assets, banners, digital ads, icons, images, website content and pages, event assets, webinars, etc.

The Graphic Designer will lead multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are completed on time while being comfortable with shifting priorities. They will have a solid knowledge of the latest technologies and design trends and be responsible for creating, shaping, and improving team processes and deliverables. This person will have experience working with cross-department leaders and will have exceptional attention to detail.

The Graphic Designer will report to the Associate Director of Content Marketing.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day creative asset strategy aligned with Rise's new business goal of full-funnel conversion with target audiences.
- Understand Rise's business objectives, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape in order to create insightful and powerful design ideas.
- Use data, best practices, and understanding of marketing goals - so hierarchy of messaging, details to include or not, etc to inform creative direction.
- Ensure consistent use of the Rise brand tone and voice; own brand style guide, DAM, and partner with the Sales team to approve branded asset templates.
- Deep understanding of the design process including concept, creation, revision, and production
- Strong visual design sense: typography, color, usability, and other design principles
- Craft the creation of content types including videos, digital marketing campaigns (Paid Social, Programmatic, and Paid Search), organic social, sales enablement, landing pages, slides/presentations, infographics, webinars, and event assets.
- Perform photo retouching and enhancements as necessary
- Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in digital advertising and incorporate industry changes into strategy
- Ability to take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies
- Manage the relationship with any third-party video vendors
- Collaborate with internal teams to visualize, design and conceptualize creative messaging, including Marketing and Client Services teams for blogs, case studies, and other cross-functional assets
- Support product marketing efforts for Rise's Connex technology
- Own a can-do attitude. Expect ad hoc supporting requests, and be comfortable pivoting within the workday to accommodate quick-turn tasks
- Go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver excellent service

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of graphic design experience
- 1 year of copywriting experience
- Self-motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
- Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal
- Deadline-oriented and creative problem-solver
- Results and detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to new situations quickly
- Outstanding organization, business fundamentals, and project management skills with the ability to coordinate projects quickly and effectively
- Experience with HTML and CMS platforms (Kentico, Pardot)
- Design suite experience required - Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch
- Video editing skills required - Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, or another software
- High competency level Google Apps Suite (including Google Slides), as well as Microsoft Outlook and Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Experience working with and managing vendors/partners for project work
- Stays current on changes and best practices of digital marketing
- Digital marketing knowledge and agency experience are a plus
