**Construction Accountant**

**Remote from Latin America | Full-Time | Contractor Position**
**$2,500-$2,800/month** | **8 AM - 5 PM (Mountain Time)**

Latino Legends is proud to partner with a **fast-growing U.S.based construction talent company**. We’re looking for an experienced **Construction Accountant** to join their team and play a critical role in managing financial operations and ensuring the success of large-scale real estate developments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, job cost accounting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems.
- Supervise preparation of accounts receivable progress billings based on contract terms.
- Review aging reports and assist with collections.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor payments, ensuring proper lien waiver collection.
- Monitor daily cash balances and ensure requirements are met.
- Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
- Collaborate with ownership to create and manage budgets.
- Prepare construction contract schedules and oversee monthly job cost reports.
- Participate in ongoing strategic planning with leadership.
- Prepare and present management reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting experience (U.S.based company experience preferred).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a focus on self-development.
