Job Purpose

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop cloud-based solutions aligned with product business objectives, leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen to drive innovation and success.
- Deploy and manage cost-effective, scalable cloud infrastructures, while proactively minimizing downtime and mitigating security breaches in the cloud environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in cloud computing and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Fligoo's cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, including IT, sales, and operations, to ensure smooth operations and project success.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, understanding the business requirements and addressing client pain points to deliver tailored cloud solutions.
- Organize yourself and the team to adapt to changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing shifting project requirements.
- Meet challenging deadlines with exceptional time management skills, ensuring timely delivery of projects and tasks. Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Foster effective communication with end users and internal/external stakeholders, balancing business concerns with user-friendly system design and building strong relationships.
- Lead teams of engineers, providing quality control and senior programming support to the development team, fostering collaboration and driving excellence.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and privacy practices, safeguarding data and maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy throughout the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Academic training
- Degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative fields.
- Certifications, Master's, and Ph.D. are a plus.
- Technical Skills
- Solid track record of at least 5 years working with backend technologies, preferably Python, and a strong understanding of relational databases.
- Extensive experience of at least 5 years working with AWS technologies such as S3, EC2, and API Gateway, or similar cloud services. Familiarity with other AWS services commonly used in cloud architectures, such as Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service) for managed databases, AWS Lambda for serverless computing, AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for fine-grained access control. Knowledge of best practices for leveraging AWS services effectively, including optimizing cost, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance, implementing data backup and disaster recovery strategies, and monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools.
- Understanding of AWS security best practices and implementing security measures such as encryption at rest and in transit, IAM roles and policies, network security
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, particularly Angular (Typescript), to effectively collaborate with front-end developers and ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, along with other related tools commonly used in DevOps practices, to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Demonstrated experience in performing project tasks and bug tracking using popular platforms like JIRA or YouTrack, ensuring efficient project management and issue resolution.
- Sound knowledge of the Scrum framework for project management, including Agile methodologies, facilitating effective collaboration, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Proficiency in using code versioning systems such as Git or Bitbucket, enabling efficient collaboration, version control, and code management within a development team.
- Having hands-on experience collaborating closely with teams engaged in AI/ML (Art
