**About The Role**
**About You**
You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience working with software development environments or in roles of technical support, technical analyst, Level 2 Application Development/ Support Engineer help desk, project management team, client on-site support, or other customer-facing technical roles. This may include but not limited to the following:
- You will have a minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience as an acting Oracle database administrator or equivalent University degree
- Your background includes previous experience working with Oracle 12.2 / 19c and have excellent understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities, and tools.
- You have an Oracle Certification or Oracle specific training in your background and have the ability to work and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Your database expertise includes Oracle backup and recovery scenarios is part of who you are and have the ability to navigate how Oracle acquires and manages resources with knowledge of Oracle data integrity.
- Previously in your experience you have had exposure and worked with JIRA/SMAXs/ADO Incident / Change management systems.
- You are an outgoing person with strong English communication skills with management, onsite teams, development teams, vendors, and systems administrators.
**Key Responsibilities**
- You will assist and run the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products including evaluating Oracle features and Oracle-related products.
- You help to establish and review backup and recovery policies and procedures while also providing support and maintenance to database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Size, design, and install Oracle databases including Oracle RAC, install Oracle Software modules such as Grid Infrastructure stand-alone and cluster.
