**Job Summary**:
The Automation Engineer is part of Tetra Pak Processing Solutions in San Fernando, Argentina. This person will have the opportunity to interact directly with customers and at all levels of the organization and make a difference to our customer base. This is a key role within the Processing Solutions unit responsible for multiple aspects of processing equipment automation.
You will be travelling up to 25 % of your time to our customer sites.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

**What you will do**:
As Automation Engineer, you will:

- Be responsible for the execution of automation projects in their entirety, taking care of quality and ensuring deliverables.
- Carry out projects in a global way for everything related to automation in processes, in the food industry.
- Be part of the selection of components (PLC and peripherals) and contracting of services for the integral development of the project and according to our standards.
- Supervision and verification of board tests, and compliance with project documents (P&ID, electrical, pneumatic drawings, etc.).
- Travel to customer site and participate in commissioning of both equipment and plants.
- Ability to manage multiple projects as required.
- Attend on-site and off-site meetings as needed or requested.
- Provide both written and verbal status reports on projects as required / requested.
- Maintain a professional attitude and working relationship with co-workers and clients.
- Participate and provide support in quotations.

**We believe you have**:

- Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Experience in Process Control and Process Optimization.
- Strong computer skills
- PLC programming skills are a plus (experience in writing code)
- Willingness to travel
- Minimum 02 experience working in automation roles.
- Previous experience in food or beverage industry is a plus.
- Minimum intermediate level of English (both written and verbal)
