Jr. Accountant

**Job Type**: Full-Time independent contractor - 100% Remote position

As part of our consulting workforce, this position is tasked with performing accounting functions, to ensure financial information is processed and prepared accurately and timely, as well as maintaining a relationship with the portfolio of end-clients based in the U.S.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Book Journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Fixed Assets, and Prepaid Accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Create custom reports and prepare financial analysis as required.
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
- Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Assist in preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow.
- Maintain relationships with clients, customers’ clients, and Vendor’s clients.
- Assist with the supporting schedules for the fiscal year-end audit and tax filings.
- Troubleshoot and solve discrepancies within the reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
- Execute payments to third parties.
- Manage and maintain systems provided by clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or in progress.
- 2-3 years of accounting/financial experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English. The Daily work and client’s communication are in English.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Power-Bi is a plus.

Pay: $464,000.00 - $580,000.00 per month
