Bim Coordinator with Revit

We have been involved in a range of exciting projects with a range of services from BIM Management and Modelling Services, as well as Construction Timeline and Cost Simulation (also referred to as 4D & 5D BIM), Building Performance Analysis (6D BIM), BIM in Facilities Management (7D BIM) and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring project delivery meets BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work, and the requirements for the project BIM Execution plan.
- Technical management and creation of project BIM data sets, including managing and maintaining project content and sourcing additional content for project teams.
- Monitoring and reporting of resource requirements across the project.
- Mentoring and overseeing the development of champions and less experienced staff.
- Support technician staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with other designers, engineers, architects, and clients to convert information into layout designs, drawings, and models using Revit and AutoCAD;
- Decipher information received from various formats (sketches, BIM Execution Plans, Architectural drawings, AutoCAD drawings, PDFs for development and delivery of 2D/3D design packages, perform 3D modelling assessments among multiple project life cycles;
- Familiarity with UK & US CAD Standards;
- Familiarity with BIM standards is not compulsory but considered an asset;
- Translate project requirements into drawings/models that will be used by Engineers and Architects to build Systems;
- Good communication skills are required to interface with customers, engineers, and designers
- Operate according to project scope, specifications, and design criteria within a project task team;
- Understand and manage drawing workflows between engineering disciplines
- Share success and setbacks with fellow designers/drafters to ensure drawing accuracy and improve skill level;
- Create 3D models of systems to support design initiatives by working with the engineering team;
- Participate in design coordination and clash detection correction sessions, working with other contractors and architects;
- Develop model families for general and project-specific needs;
- Work with other modelers, CAD specialists, and designers to build/manage model databases, templates, and standard procedures;
- Perform quality checks on modelling efforts of others to ensure tools to support upstream engineering or downstream project management;
- Investigate and develop methods to use BIM models or software tools to support engineering or downstream project management;
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Excellent communication in English;
- At least 3 years experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar Management role;
- Extensive experience in Revit construction, or relevant field experience;
- Good understanding of construction modelling and documentation;
- Complex problem-solving ability required. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, group atmosphere;
- Working knowledge of Revit (preferably AutoCAD);
- Provable experience building or maintaining model family libraries;
- Generate plan drawings, equipment layouts, details, and schedules using Revit for projects in various phases of design and construction according to industry standards;
- Computer-Aided Design for M/E/P design, construction, or systems manufacturing is not mandatory but considered an asset;
- Flexible approach to work and adhering to deadlines;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered as an advantage;
