**Job Overview**:
The HR Director will be responsible for leading key HR functions including employee development, performance management, compliance, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and HR data analysis. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who will work closely with senior management to implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals. The HR Director will collaborate with the HR Manager, her team of three members, and the HR Coach.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership & Strategy**:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team to ensure efficient and effective HR operations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR-related matters.
**Employee Development & Retention**:
- Design and implement employee development programs to enhance skills, performance, and career growth.
- Develop and manage succession planning initiatives to ensure continuity of leadership and key talent.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
**Performance Management**:
- Implement a robust performance management system to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Provide guidance on performance evaluations, feedback processes, and coaching.
**Compliance & Policy Management**:
- Ensure the company complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to create a fair, consistent, and legally compliant work environment.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
**Diversity & Inclusion**:
- Drive initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Promote and support diversity training and awareness programs across the organization.
**HR Reporting & Analytics**:
- Develop and maintain HR metrics to monitor workforce trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Regularly report on HR performance to senior leadership.
**Required Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience leading organizational change and developing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employment regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
