Emi, our main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that enables companies to engage in a conversation with each applicant to detect interested and qualified individuals while saving Recruiters a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents.
We were part of Y-Combinator's Winter 2019 batch and in 2022 we have raised an $11M funding round co-led by Merus Capital and Khosla Ventures.
**About our Learning & Communications Team**
The Learning & Communications team, part of our Customer Experience area, bridges the gap between product capabilities and user understanding. We work closely with Customer Success, Implementation, Tech Support, and Product teams to craft learning journeys and deliver impactful communication strategies. Our mission is to ensure users adopt Emi successfully and experience its full potential through innovative tools like academi, our learning platform.
We're a team that values creativity, experimentation, and user focus. We’re now looking to bring in fresh ideas and energy to take our learning experiences to the next level; especially when it comes to innovation, user adoption, and the use of AI.
**What you'll be doing**
As a Learning & Adoption Specialist, you’ll support the design, development, and execution of high-impact training and communication initiatives for end users of Emi. You’ll help us deliver engaging learning experiences that drive product adoption—and bring new thinking around creativity, user engagement, and AI-enabled solutions.
You’ll report to the Learning & Communications Manager and collaborate closely with teams across Customer Success, Product, and Tech.
**Tasks/Activities**:
- Collaborate with the Learning & Communications Manager to identify client training needs and audience profiles.
- Develop creative training content such as videos, interactive tutorials, guides, and interactive courses, utilizing Academi as the central delivery platform.
- Ensure the execution and delivery of learning and communication solutions, including mailings, announcements, and internal updates for users.
- Implement learning strategies aligned with Change Management best practices to drive user adoption.
- Partner with internal teams to align training materials with client and business goals.
- Continuously gather and incorporate feedback to improve both training content and communication effectiveness.
- Utilize educational design tools and platforms to produce high-quality, accessible communication and learning through Academi.
- Stay up-to-date on AI and EdTech trends, and bring new ideas to test and iterate.
- Monitor usage and feedback to continuously improve the quality, relevance, and impact of our content.
**What we're looking for**:
- 2+ years of experience in training design, customer education, or communication roles.
- Demonstrated creativity in crafting user-centered content and learning formats.
- Experience (or strong interest) in using AI tools to enhance learning or automation (e.g., AI-generated video, ChatGPT, learning analytics, etc.).
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and craft engaging messages.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality content and communication.
- Team-oriented and collaborative, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Thrilled to work in a dynamic startup environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and the opportunity to shape processes and strategies.
- Proficient English speaker (required).
- Portuguese is a strong plus.
