**ORGANIZATION AND PROGRAM PROFILE** Specific responsibilities for the Implementation Associate/ Senior Associate are outlined below: - Coordinate the development of the overall waste management transformation strategy and roadmap for Mendoza, together with the Argentina leadership team - Facilitate weekly meetings with public officials from Mendoza to help them implement the opportunities identified, through an analysis of implications (e.g. legal, operational, financial) and the development of implementation road maps - During the diagnose and design phase: facilitate the quantitative and qualitative data collection to inform Delterra's research to estimate potential financial, environmental and social impact of different opportunities for increasing recycling and waste diversion in Mendoza - During the deliver phase: Support the implementation of waste management solutions. Help identify, escalate and resolve bottlenecks as they arise - Provide strategic and day-to-day problem solving, leading a collaborative process to prioritize between tradeoffs, manage risks and respond to emergent opportunities - Coordinate and collaborate with internal experts (e.g., Behavior Change, Operations, Institutions, Digital), external (inter)national experts and partner organizations and help contribute their expertise to Mendoza - Track KPIs and reporting for Mendoza - Coach members of the municipal government on a regular basis, run workshops and trainings for government officials, waste workers and cooperatives - Communicate and coordinate regularly with team members across Argentina and Indonesia to share learnings, raise and address issues, and ensure consistent messaging across the organization **QUALIFICATIONS** - 4+ years' experience of work experience in high performing and diverse teams to deliver complex projects with diverse stakeholders, including implementation and transformations - Solutions-oriented and pragmatic mindset with the ability to remain positive in the face of setbacks and unexpected challenges - Demonstrated aptitude in conceptual problem solving (e.g., distilling themes from team members debriefs) - Excellent project-management, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities - Excellent stakeholder management skills. Being able to play "the-spider-in-the-web" while also willing to "roll-up the sleeves" and proactively resolve bottlenecks (e.g., developing relationships with stakeholders, leveraging ones network, chasing data) - Ability to thrive in "build the plane as you fly it" environments: comfortable managing the ambiguity and risks inherent to innovation; adapting to the situation at hand, helping teams prioritize dynamically based on new information; staying positive and creative in the face of setbacks and driving rapid progress - Minimum a Bachelor Education in Business, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, Environmental, Development and/or relevant fields - Native fluency in Spanish and professional fluency in English - Experience in preparing and delivering external communications with a range of different stakeholders from the public and private sector.
