Localization Engineer

CSOFT International is currently looking for talented Localization Engineers to join our North American team. While partnering with our Global Ops Program, CSOFT’s young and fast-paced workplace could be the perfect place to gain valuable experience while utilizing your skills in a new setting.

Title: Localization Engineer

Detailed Description:
Applicants must be flexible and able to work within a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Applicants also with a background in localization and computer science is key for this position. A positive attitude, a desire to learn, and the ability to stay organized are all essential.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Processing files for localization, including file preparation and format conversion, etc.

2. Communicate with clients and vendors on technical aspects, provide assistance to solve issues about software internationalization and localization;
3. Provide technical support to smooth whole projects; collaborate closely with overseas clients, vendors, and project managers on project execution and risk management;
5. Document and maintain technical instructions, account tips and best practices etc.

6. QA before every delivery both internal and external.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Knowledge on DTP and localization
- Excellent knowledge of Desktop Software (Word, PowerPoint, FrameMaker, Photoshop,Illustrator, InDesignat least 4 or above)
- Knowledge of CAT tools

About you:
Qualification
- University degree in Computing, Localization or Computational Linguistics;
- Proficient with both written and oral English, knowledge of a second language preferred; Mandarin skills will be a big plus;
- Localization experience will be a plus;
- Detail-oriented, careful, and able to work on multiple projects at the same time;
- Extensive knowledge on computer science; quick learner and self-motivated.
