As Software Support Engineer you will be responsible to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to internal teams and to customers in addition to training internal teams in the use of our platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact to the internal and external client(s) regarding the overall product performance.
- Train the Delivery Team in new product releases and upcoming features.
- Support the product delivery process during POC, pilot and production stages.
- Resolve support tickets escalated by the Customer Success and support team.
- Test products in different hardware configurations, environments and devices for its correct deployment and support. Generate backlog of issues to be solved by the development team.
- Work alongside QA to report issues detected in production.

**Task**:

- Deploy and configure software products
- Monitor and adjust production systems
- Create tickets for Devops team regarding monitoring tools.
- Support end customers and troubleshoot issues in production
- Write and maintain documentation regarding procedures, good practices and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot production systems and report issues to development team.
- Support systems in production and help during configuration to guarantee high accuracy.
- Support Delivery team during configuration of the system.

**Knowledg and Abilities**:

- Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Linux OS
- Docker and Docker-compose.
- Understanding of AI and IOT platforms. (VMS, Security Systems, Thingsboard, etc)
- Good writing skills to generate internal and external documentation.
- Experience with on premise systems.
- Experience providing support for software platforms to customers.
- Understanding of networking.
- Understanding of communication protocols (MQTT, Kafka, SMTP, HTTP)
- Teamwork -Need to work well as part of a team, to take on tasks during busier periods to help colleagues, and to be of assistance or offer guidance to other members of staff.
- Detail-Oriented - This position requires analytical skills and the ability to interpret information from numerous sources.

- QA experience.
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc)
- Experience in startup companies.
- Devops experience (with on premise systems)
- Experience with Kafka based system
