Tax Analyst

**Main Purpose**:The tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring, executing, controlling and analyzing tax returns and compliance with the applicable law and requirements in Argentina. The individual will work closely with the finance and accounting teams to provide guidance on tax matters and support the organization's tax operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Control tax criterias in tax settlements.
- Prepare and follow the tax calendar and budget to be reported to financial area.
- Preparation, control and filing of National and provincial tax returns and reports in compliance with local tax laws and Federal regulations.
- Develop budgetary criteria for tax management in order to contribute to the programming of payments on pre-established dates
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization remains compliant
- Analyze and reconcile tax accounting accounts in order to reflect tax return balances.
- Advise other commercial and financial regarding tax matters.
- Asist in providing information required by tax agencies, legal and administrative processes.
- Update customer and supplier tax files.
- Coordinate with commercial and financial areas the claims of customers and suppliers complying with tax law.
- Develop area management indicators in order to contribute to their compliance.
- Implement tax procedures related to the business of the company in order to contribute to the reduction of tax risks
- Advise and provide attention to queries from internal and external Clients and suppliers in relation to tax issues.
- Develop different tasks related to the settlement of such taxes to ensure proper compliance with the rules and tax procedure.
- Review and analyze tax provisions and accruals for financial statements

**Knowledge and abilities**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
- 4+ years of progressive experience in taxes, particularly in Federal and Provincial indirect taxes.
- Strong knowledge of Argentinian tax laws and regulations.
- Strong command of Microsoft, Excel, Access to cope with big databases.
- Good interpersonal skills, networking and teamworking.
- Intermediate level in English.
