**Role Summary**:
Effectively lead the Disassembly-Cleaning-Inspection process, including industrial engineering activities and item management, of any pump (Repair or Upgrade).

Determine the scope of repair of a pump

The QA Engineer is responsible for inspecting the pump, determining the scope of repair and defining the budget for said repair. And it is also responsible for making the team exit report and issuing the Quality certificate

**Responsibilities & Requirements**: Responsibilities
- Effectively lead the Disassembly-Cleaning-Inspection process, including industrial engineering activities and item management, of any pump (Repair or Upgrade) with the mission of meeting the objectives and policies of the company related to Costs and Reduction of Costs, Quality, Delivery on time, CIP, Cash Flow, Hygiene and Safety.
- Establish, define and monitor the key performance indicators of the department to ensure that the objectives of the company are met.
- Manage the implementation and use of appropriate operating and reporting systems, manufacturing and quality processes.
- Provide experience in solving quality-related problems. Report production deviations through Nonconformity Reports and initiate and evaluate corrective actions immediately and verify the effectiveness of long-term solutions.
- Responsible for Industrial Engineering tasks designed to obtain the optimal balance between profitability, quality design and manufacturing.
- Responsible for delivering the definition of the Scope of the proposed Repair and the detailed routing.

**Requirements**:

- Training: Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with rotating machines from 3 to 5 years
- Intermediate technical English
- Reading and interpretation of plans
- Knowledge of API610, AXME IX and NDO
- Knowledge of quality management - ISO 9001 procedures
- Management of Office / Solidwork / Inventor

**Preferred Experience / Skills**: - Additional knowledge on other Flowserve products (valves, seals)
- Green Belt Certificate.
- Lean Practitioner Certificate. Solid knowledge of Lean principles and self-taught mentality to apply, promote and deploy JIT and KAIZEN projects in the Cell.
