At Directa24 we are looking for a self-motivated **Accounting **Specialist **to join our multinational team. The main objective is review and to coordinate the accounting team, solving accounting issues and mitigate risks.
**What you will be doing?**
- Management of the accounting closing process to accomplish timely month closure
- Analyze operational and financial data.
- Responsible for monitoring the balance sheets and deadlines
- Administrate and control the reconciliation of local banks.
- Responsible for compare theorical cost with real cost.
- Analyze risks and issues.
- Leading implementation of new Accounting Software.
- Reconciliation with related parties, investigation & resolution of billing issues.
- Continuous contact with various teams, including Treasury, Operations, and Internal Audit, for investigation and resolution of differences between accounting and other sources of accounting information.
- Be in constant search of opportunities of effectiveness and efficiency in the way we work. Great opportunity to redefine processes, and tools to allow us be more agile and increase time available for analysis
- Develop monthly/quarterly management reports regarding the underlying performance, leading indicators, validation of plan assumptions, and key metrics on the business.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 4+ years in a similar position
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with first class ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc), operating with multi-currency accounting.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Experience in Financial Services / Fintech industries is a plus
